Obviously, the title of this post is just a bad joke. I can't stop coding! I've been hard at work on my new game (unannounced at this time) since some time in April, and it's getting closer and closer to the finish line; my goal is to be done with all the code by the end of August. This game most likely won't be on Spell of Play, as I'm looking into other publishing options at the moment. As I tend to blog here far to rarely, and also post news om my own site far to rarely as well, I've introduced a new perspective straight into my development workshop via this Sneak Peek page. If you are in any way interested in what I'm up to there's no better place to stay updated. I hope all you other indie-devs are having a productive year so far, and I hope to see more of your games here or any other where soon! Peace! |

Myself I've not been coding anything at all during the summer
feels both good and bad. Kind of nice to get the urge to code back again.
Really like the prio sneak peak; I'd really like some screenshots to complement the rambligs though
I haven't done much either
I haven't done much either since the last sense update. I've realized i really want to move over to xna and xbla development because with limited time its really nice to work against a specific platform and not bother with the endless pc configurations. Also, c++ is a big reason why i lose motivation. I hate having to code rudimentary functions that should exist within the language already, which it usually does with C#.
I want to wrap up sense asap and move on, but i probably will try some xna development to keep me interested in game dev at all, which more likely will end in the death of sense, but who knows, i still like the idea and there's so much you can do with it. As long as i'm doing it myself on my spare time it probably wont go very far in reasonable time.
Also, i'm sad to say this but i'd also feel more motivated uploading and updating a project on a community where there's more active people and more consumers perhaps. This place has been pretty dead for a while now.

I got kind of sidetracked yesterday and played around a bit with marching tetrahedrons. There is a codebase log (August 19th) about it here:
