This is gonna sound really nuts... The other day I woke up at 5:30 AM with a song running thru my head. Not just a melody, an entire song. In my dream Nick Carter (Backstreet Boys) was singing it (what does that mean?!?) Very rarely (if ever) have I managed to dream up an entire song, my inspiration mostly comes to me when I'm awake. There was something really weird about this song, namely that the verse was in a minor key and very swedish-sounding (aka ABBA), and I tend to write my stuff mostly in a major key. Anyway, I rushed up out of bed and tried to put something down on paper so I would remember the damn thing. Here I am a few days later with the germ of the song recorded. This is a bonafide EuroVision Song Contest song, there is absolutely no doubt about it. I have resolved to enter this year's contest, as this obviously is a message from God or whoever... Wish me luck! |

Yes, this is indeed one of the strangest things I've heard coming from you yet. I wish you all the luck in the world, because if you succeed I will actually have a reason to watch the show for the fist time in many years
(I must state that I believe "Optimistic" would stand a great chance in the contest too..)
