I am confused by a "non-treasure":
"You have found a bag of gold, it contains 500 gold! No sign of treasures or clues here, try another treasure location"
I would consider that to be a treasure...
Also, I noticed that the buttons on the sleeve of the "mouse cursor hand" change when you click.

The movement between different treasure maps is somewhat unclear to me.
After getting 2 treasures on the first map, I found davey jones' locker and was taken to the map room. Since it is still an option to go back to the previous map, shouldn't we communicate to the user that all treasures on this map have been found, and going back there will only give more score? Or is this even the case?
I think that the map view (and the map room) should always show how many treasures there are total and how many have been found.

Yes this is indeed a problem.
I had 3 treasure maps, and had found all treasures on two of them. I spent quite some time running around between the maps trying to figure out which one still had treasures left, and the only way to do that was to play a level in order to get the message.
