I love this game! Reminds me of death rally, but without the weapons. Can't wait for the final version! |

You can play all our pc games just by downloading and installing hUb!
Awesome!
I agree, I just played for more than an hour, and just kept on playing! I really like that you can upgrade your car! That is what drives me to continue racing!
Here is some feedback.
Well really hard to drive on foggy levels,
To much messages and dialogs, I did not bother to read most of them and after a while you really dont want to check your inbox when you have a massive amount of messages...
I love the music!
I had one crash on my other computer, directly after completing the first race... Did not happen a second time...
I experience something that might be a timer issue, the game jerks forward sometimes... might be that im tired
Well I will play some more
Awesome!
thanks for your kind words! its awesome to hear someone else liking it. we've worked hard on the music. its very important to us and we've worked with several professionals.
its kinda supposed to be hard to drive fast on foggy levels. the AI should slow down as well. driving foggy levels require a different strategy we thought interesting and unique. if everyone thinks its annoying we'll just make it a light visual effect that doesn't affect gameplay instead...
we could make polls about things like this when more people post feedback here.
we really made an effort minimizing the amount of text in dialogs and we think its pretty low now considering the complexity of this game. where would you otherwise learn about this games' unique game mechanics? I believe people who haven't seen the game before will appreciate the info. When I start anew on other games of this size I always have to go through a lengthy tutorial with lots more text than we have. we have to set some middle ground here since the game isn't a pure casual game.
the messages provides more optional info and shows some of the new features like the dynamic opponents (opponents also shop and improve over time like you). some will want to read it, and some don't. we could lower the amount some though so it doesn't feel like you are spammed.
any crashes would easiest be solved if you send us sessionlogs (Roadclub/) and exactly what you did just before it happened. contact@solidcore.se is the address.
we are taking some measures to ensure smoother deltatiming if sudden spikes occur.. maybe it makes things worse.
thanks again for your comments!
Awesome!
I agree with SolidBenny about tutorials and text, it took some time to read the dialogs the first time, but it did help me understanding some of the game mechanics. Perhaps it could be optional when starting a new game (if not done already, I've only created a profile once)?
I do think the mails get a bit annoying though, especially since the tutorial dialogs tells me to look in the messages for more tips. Perhaps it could be categorized in some way so you know what the new messages are about without having to browse them?
Awesome!
you are asked for the driving tutorial. and you can choose not to take the career tutorial. and the welcome text when you start for the first time is shown only once. I think you are given the choice pretty well.
the message need a second look. we'll try to trim them down and make them more relevant somehow. thanks!
Awesome!
I'm also having trouble with the dialogs... that is I tend to not read them.
Some suggestions:
The font is rather blurry or has some width issues, some characters are chopped off.
Test a non transparent tutorial dialog screen... I think this will improve readability.
Have several shorter dialogs instead of one big.

thanks, good suggestions. noted

It is nice to see that people are enjoying the game.
If you like upgrading your car, be sure to check the USED car lot often. Even though they start with less power than a brand new car of the same model, sometimes they can spawn with some very absurd combinations of abilities.
I once ended up with a car that had two nitro upgrades, and extra sticky tires... Suffice to say, the power was 4 digits.
Awesome!
Hey, nice to see you here. Combat is the brains behind the car physics for those who don't know.
Yeah fun stuff can happen with randomness
Awesome!
Cool, the physics is awesome! Welcome to the SoP Community CombatWombat (love that avatar
