Sense i4 released!

The comment you are replying to does not exist.

I finished i4! This iteration has a lot more going on and it's time for a quick key overview:

WASD = Move
Shift (Hold) = Dash
LMB = Shoot
RMB = Shield (can't shoot)

1 = Select Bolt Rifle (kills blue guys)
2 = Select Sonic Blaster (kills green guys)

ESC = Quit

Note: All weapons do damage to all enemies but the effect is quite different

What's new?
- New map
- New enemy: Spike.
- New weapon: Sonic Blaster (key 2)
- Tweaked weapon: Player now holds dual Bolt Rifles with smaller but quicker shots (key 1)
- Weapons do different damage on different enemies
- Enemies now pathfind their seeking destinations (when no target)
- Player spawnpoints/healing stations (stand in the red areas to heal)
- Camera seeks player
- Added some effects when hitting enemies and taking a hit (comic-flash, blood)
- Changed some graphics and sounds
- Fixed fpstimer
- Plus the usual small fixes etc

Enjoy and leave feedback here as usual.

Nice, played t a lot longer

Nice, played t a lot longer this time... Control and camera feels much better!

I like the behaviors of the enemies...

I like the weapons!

Now my biggest issue is that I got no goal in the game, after destroying a few enemies it quickly felt repetitive. More levels!

Keep it up!

Thanks, that sounds

Thanks, that sounds great!

There barely is any goal at the moment so it's not strange that you feel that way Smiling

I wanna keep this simple so it would be great if we could discuss simple but fun goals for the game in another thread. I made one here: http://www.spellofplay.com/forums/games/sense-survival-prelude/make-sens...

I have some ideas but it's always helpful to "bounce stuff on people" before going forward Smiling
