I20 was just released, this is the public beta version. All features, levels and bosses are in place. Now comes the eternal work of adding polish and fixing problems The biggest change is the inclusion of the Jumpgates, I'm very curious about what you think about this. And oh, you can actually complete the game... not just looping forever... would be interesting to know if anyone manages to complete it... Enjoy! |

Nice gates! Makes it easier
Nice gates! Makes it easier with the goto-level-thingy in my trainer too I guess, it didn't work extremely good at all times.
Little thought - when clicking "start the cleansing now" (or w/e it is) and you have to choose level - shouldn't the highscore table minimize again? I mean,
1) Start game
2) Open highscores
3) Click start cleansing
, then at least on my computer you can't actually see the level buttons.
Btw, did you change the font a bit or is it just me? Looks more "boldish" so to speak...

First bug in tha house! The highscores should indeed not be shown.
Yes font is changed to a bolder one. You like?
Something I forgot to ask is if you could change or improve just one thing in T.W.T.P.B. what would it be?
Yeah, the new font is better
Yeah, the new font is better in my opinion. Btw it's great with the resolution options. Don't know if it's new or if I just didn't notice it before, but it's good either way.
What to change/improve? No idea, I'm currently testing it as it is

Heh, "We mean you no harm"
Heh, "We mean you no harm" *they start shooting*. Reminds me of an old sci-fi comedy ("Mars Attacks"? Something like that). So anyway, I beat the laser boss. Level 9 was pretty intense, albeit a bit short (but that's ok, because it had a lot of bullets
). The boss was pretty fracking difficult though. It also had a lot of bullets. And those sprays are pretty hard to avoid. Oh well, practice makes perfect, right?

Cool that you made it that far already! I guess the continues works as they should
I have made a small update regarding some mentioned and unmentioned problems.
I hope everyting works!
Ah, some good progress has
Ah, some good progress has been made!
+ Jumpgates are of course a welcome addition
Overkill ftw. Also the 6th level is pretty cool on its own... The level 6 boss is where the game's potential really starts to show.
Imo there's a quite sharp increase in difficulty in level 5-6, but then again it's halfway through the game and I guess that's the way it should be. I probably have to use quite a lot of rinse-and-repeat tactics to eventually beat it
+ Nice and clear special abilities HUD elements and selection
+ Very cool bosses in level 5 and 6! Gotta love the rain of energy tokens on the "octopus" boss
- It's very hard to finish level 6
- The boss energy meters are a bit difficult to read when they are very thin and long (across entire screen)
Good stuff, now I just need to get past level 6
Sweet! Thanks for the
Sweet! Thanks for the feedback!
I'll keep on tweaking the game and I do agree that level 5-6 are quite hard. Even harder than some of the rest of the levels.
I had some other comments on the energy and time meters. I will probably change them in some way.
