awesome game. I hear SolidRalf is obsessing with it. well since I have this crappy graphics card (gf2mx) I found two issues. 1. menu buttons didn't always catch my clicks. don't remember this being an issue with my previous (much better graphics card). but it was a while since the last time I played. otherwise worked flawlessly. more than I can say for AWorld, LinkIt, PQ, Hero and twtpb with this graphics card |

Some feedback with crappy graphics card
Thanks for the feed!
I think I have tracked down and fixed the issue with unresponsive buttons, it was also an issue with AstroCreeps.
The flashing of the various user interface elements (the map and the hud) is by design, the idea is that they vanish when they are obscuring an enemy or a powerup. While I'm not a big fan of transparent user interfaces (as they still obscure things sometwhat), I think I will implement a transparency option for this.

good that you found it.
what I saw I think was some other window out in windows trying to get attention but I don't know. it was in the middle of the screen. like wide band from left to right. probably nothing to worry about though.

Ah, I was premature
Well, anyway, I have implemented some more hud options.
The flashing rectangle problem started showing up on WinXP I believe. The graphics code for UfoPilot2 dates back to DirectDraw 3 somewhere, and still uses those interfaces. Frankly I'm amazed that it even still works at all
I haven't been able to track down the flickering, which is really irritating. For me (nVidia GeForce Go 7900 GTX) it only happens for a few seconds at the very start of execution, but it really sux if it happens all the time for people.
