I installed hub at work and tried again at home and the hub installer doesnt install a working version. the hub folder is missing. it looks for \hub\hub.exe |

You can play all our pc games just by downloading and installing hUb!

What's your OS, and are you logged in as admin?
edit: Wait a second! It's probably because the server is down!

i know the server is down
i know the server is down but hobbe said it would play in offline mode? or does something need to be fetched from the server before that is possible?

Yes that is correct
The first time you run it needs to be online in order to get the latest version of the hUb.
Also, if you are installing fresh you won't have any games to play in offline mode anyway...
