, the event kicks off at 09:00 July 11, and ends 17:00 12 July (as disclosed on the new SoPCON 1 info page)
Regarding the end time, well... depending on the mood, energy level etc I think that well wrap things up around 20:00, this could also be a good time to go grab some food and beer (and of course you can bring your friend
)
Since I'm not a local, johno is probably the best to answer the transportation stuff, but my bet is to go by "spårvagn"
Trams
I thought I posted about this but I guess it broke
You can take trams number 3 or 9 from Drottningtorget / Centralstationen to Jaegerdorffsplatsen, and from there it is a short walk along the waterfront to Novotel.

I sure hope you guys do this again next year, because then I'll make the time to attend. Right now work is sucking the life out of me, thank god I only have 3 weeks until my vacation and then I go back to my old product. Some of the code I have seen where I am now has literally made me cry...
Even better is that next year I'll hopefully have a lot done on my game. I even found something in Java today I didn't know about that will be a good help. Will you guys be blogging about the event btw? I sure hope so..

Anyways, we plan on sending a live feed from the event and have the ability to do some live chatting so you should be able to keep an eye on the event
