Inspiration from Marketing

The last week has been somewhat crazy. The latest release of T.W.T.P.B. was very well recieved by the press and we got a massive amount of traffic to these pages. Making the whole site slow down to a crawl, and also our ISP decided to upgrade the database on the servers. Something they still do not seem to have configured correcly yet as I suffer from many blank page timeouts. Not that very nice and something that is very hard for us to do something about in the short run. I'm however looking into moving the site to a more high performance place.

Developmentvise T.W.T.P.B. is comming along nicely. Getting some press and feedback really motivates us to make this game better and better. Some people even thought the game should be on XBLA, and this is only iteration 7. I guess there will be at least 15 iterations before this game is finished.

An interesting thing is that actually making the screenshots and video have inpired me to come up with new ideas for enemies and bosses. This is really interesting, especially since I have always regarded the "marketing" part of making games a neccessary evil not really contributing to the actual realization of the game. I guess I need to reevaluate my oppinion.

Huge thanx to those who have already decided to sign up for the full version and support the development. You will not be disapointed!

The next iteration will be released on thursday since I'm hoping to go for a vacation to the sun and warmth for a week after that!
