Me and johno just finished an interview thingy for Emil-O-Rama over at swedish gaming pod-cast spelradion. Emil-O-Rama is a show dedicated to indie and retro gaming. The episode will be "aired" on friday, so make sure you check it out (in swedish only though) Was a really cool experience, and both me and johno are quite good at ranting. Just listened, pretty cool! Although the presenter was a bit long winded at times, could have let you guys talk more imo
But good stuff nonetheless, nice to get a little update on what's going on at SoP!
Oh and "Ice cream, ice cream!" is truly classic
Those are the nice little touches to a game that sticks 20 years later...
Oh and didn't digital illusions have a dedicated ball physics guy? Ulf Mandorff or something, hehe. Pretty good physics anyway
Rant
Yeah, I guess me and johno could rant all day long actually.
One thing that could have been better is breaking in into each others rants. However, the interview was done via skype and skype seems to cut off the sound when you talk (half duplex?) making a natural discussion quite hard...
Anyways it was good fun and I hope to do it again some time!
I wonder how many got the "ice cream, ice cream" comment
and as I remember it the physics in pinball dreams was amazingly accurate. Don't know about the dedicated ball physics guy, but it sounds like DICE
