Stuff Tagged With "Mini golf Worlds"

Just had a relaxing little mini golf session!

Quick thoughts that came from this:

* I'd like to be a able to start playing a new course by just clicking on the course, rather than moving over to the "play" button. Kept trying to do that all the time for some reason Maybe because the course overview looks just like it's ready to play, so to speak...

* It would be nice to be able to see how you ranked in a contest on the finish screen . Right now I think the only way is by going back to the contests screen?

* Might also be nice to be able to see your ranking while you're playing a single player course, in between the holes... And also to see more than just the top 10 rankings, since I'm more likely to be in the top 100

Just noticed that some graphics resources in mini golf worlds tend to explode when alt-tab:ing, at least on my machine (winxp sp3, radeon 9800 w/ latest drivers).
Repro steps: start game in full screen, go into select course screen, alt-tab out of game, go back to the game and observe garbled graphics. (http://washout.dyndns.org/minigolf_garbled.png)

OMG! RomarioOne just wiped the list of challenges in Mini golf!
And a new record of 10 on "Easy Peasy"!!!

That is one talented golfer!

Our online server for mini golf worlds is currently offline, we are working on the problem.

I have some ideas for making the multi player game easier and more fun.

1. You should be able to follow another player around, starting to play on the same level as he and follow him to other courses... So if you find me on friends tab, you can jump directly to the level I´m playing on and play with me...

2. You should see which players that are looking at your level.

3. I´m thinking of using the Spell of Play avatar images, just download them from the sop site and use them inside the game...

4. More and better ordered messages, messages about and between levels... messages sent to only friends...

This topic is for reporting development progress, it can be used by anyone contributing to the project.
I will use it for programming progress, but feel free to post here if you upload a new version of your own levels.
